ABOUT Isabel Mwendwa Radoli

Isabel possesses 8 years of experience implementing communication strategies and activities in Kenya, having developed and implemented communication strategies within non-governmental, governmental, public, and private institutions and organizations. She has worked in various industries such as academia, hospitality, transport, wildlife, small and medium-scale businesses, and civil society.

As part of the Visibility Unit at APHRC, Isabel amplifies the center’s work by developing and implementing digital media strategies to enhance the organization’s online presence and engagement. She manages the center’s digital media platforms, creates compelling content, and executes campaigns to achieve visibility and communication goals.

She holds a Master’s in Digital Journalism from the Aga Khan University building on a double major Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations.

Her most recent role was Communication Lead at Act Change Transform, where she provided technical support to Civil Society Organizations in the design and implementation of communication strategies and brand identity interventions in multiple democracy and counterterrorism programs. Further, she led capacity development processes in: multimedia content development and publishing, digital media management, media relations, as well as event management and logistics skills.

She is driven by the desire to empower communities by having their voices heard, one story at a time.
