ABOUT Grace Kimemia

Grace is a Research Officer under the Population Dynamics and Reproductive Health Unit. Her work focuses on sexuality and reproductive health rights, including abortion and family planning. She holds a Master of Arts in Medical Anthropology from the University of Nairobi and has over five years of experience working in health research and development.

Previously, Grace served as a Research officer at KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Program where she worked on improving infection prevention and control, and antimicrobial stewardship in Kenyan hospitals. She also worked as a Social Scientist at KEMRI-Center for Clinical Research, Thika, where she was involved in projects on safer conception among HIV serodiscordant couples.

Grace is driven by the desire to use and interpret data to understand social issues and behavior around reproductive health.
