ABOUT Catherine Asego

Catherine Asego is a project management and communications expert with over 10 years of experience. She is a project coordinator within the Education and Youth Empowerment Unit (EYE). She manages the Regional Education Learning Initiative (RELI) that promotes learning and collaboration among 70 organizations in East Africa, working to address challenges facing the education sector. She also supports the development of policy and communication tools that partner institutions under the Urban Education Project use in their engagement with the various policymakers in each of the countries.

Catherine is an alumni of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders  (YALI) program, an initiative of the former US President Barack Obama to invest in the next generation of African leaders.
