ABOUT Alex Manyasi

Alex handles advocacy and knowledge management, supporting governments to think through policy challenges, policy review and implementation. His responsibilities also include harnessing the knowledge available at the Center and supporting governments maximize the knowledge for policy input.  

Alex is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership and Governance from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a BBA in Entrepreneurship. 

He is the immediate former national coordinator for Kenya, Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC); former director of government affairs and compliance, Sanergy and former regional manager, Bridge International Academies.

  

Alex has made significant contributions to the policy and business environment in Kenya, through numerous memberships on boards and committees,  and on the global platform representing Kenya and the continent, especially in the water, sanitation and hygiene space, including social justice in general. 

He is driven by the desire to contribute to the policy environment in Africa, creating an environment where service delivery is enhanced, leaving no one behind.
