PATRICK AMBOKA
Project Officer
Patrick Amboka is a research officer working on Catalyze Impact Via Africa-led Implementation Research Platforms project in the Research and Related Capacity Strengthening division. The project aims to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem in continental Africa.
Before joining APHRC, he worked as a clinical nutritionist and a researcher at Aga Khan Hospital, Coptic Hospital, and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH).
Patrick is a licensed clinical nutritionist with a background in nursing.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and disease control at Mount Kenya University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Egerton University.
Patrick is driven by impactful evidence for policy change and universal health coverage in Africa.
