In 2021, he served as the Director of the Washington State Department of Health Vaccine Action Command and Coordination System Center, a public-private partnership to achieve mass Covid-19 vaccination in Washington State. Mr. Laster worked for over ten years at PATH, where he served as COO and Chief Legal Officer. He previously was an Associate General Counsel at Microsoft overseeing the trademark, copyright, trade secret and open source practices. Mr. Laster has been a speaker on numerous topics, including intellectual property law.
