The Implementation Network for Sharing Population Information from Research Entities (INSPIRE), initiated by the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) in collaboration with partners in July 2019, is committed to advancing a population-based health data-sharing infrastructure that enables informed decision-making. It aims to provide a platform for sharing data from longitudinal population cohorts (LPCs), such as Health and Demographic Surveillance Sites (HDSS). To date, INSPIRE has collaborated with 25+ HDSS sites across the African continent.
