Simon Ambale Mwarua

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Simon works in the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning unit as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, specializing in indicator tracking, impact assessment, and the qualitative transcription of Key Informant Interviews (KIIs). He contributes to designing M&E plans, developing data collection tools, and overseeing data gathering to ensure accurate quarterly and annual reporting. He holds a BSc in Applied Statistics with Computing from Karatina University. His immediate previous job was as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at KICTANet, where he worked under the gender program. In this role, he tracked core program indicators, conducted meta-analyses, and provided regular updates to the program team. Simon offered technical support to core programs and designed mobile-based data collection tools tailored to project requirements, facilitating tasks such as pre-and post-training assessment surveys. Simon is passionate about data-driven insights and contributing to meaningful research and development efforts. He is driven by his curiosity and inquisitiveness in exploring data management, research methodologies, and project management.
