Do you have a favorite childhood memory that still makes you smile? Imagine having just one job—grazing cows, and then boom! They vanish! In my younger days, Sundays were the ultimate mix of pure bliss, adventure, and chaos, which I absolutely enjoyed. The day would start with my friends and I grazing cows. It would then immediately transform into extreme compulsory fun—playing football in the rain, sliding through the mud, eating wild fruits, swimming in the river, and much more. I remember one day vividly: we got carried away playing and lost track of the cows. After searching everywhere, it was dark, and we couldn’t find them, so we decided to go home and confess. My dad, frustrated, asked us, “How can cows vanish as you see them?” Most stories have a similar ending; you know what happened thereafter – canning was real, and that was the end of fun! The twist: the cows were tired of our games and had returned home. They played us 😂!
If your life were a movie, what genre would it be, and who would play you? It would undoubtedly be an adventure kind of movie! Picture a story filled with some drama, humor, and inspiration. Is that a lot? Let me describe it—the film would revolve around a multiskilled protagonist who uses their charm and talents to mobilize a team for a mission and help people navigate thrilling and intense escapades. Who would better play this role than Idris Elba? His acting depth would portray the versatility needed to bring the story to life. I love adventure, and one of the thrills is mountain climbing.
How would you rate your singing skills, and what’s your go-to karaoke song? On a scale of 1-4 (our appraisal scale 😀), I am at 3.8. Life without music would ♭flat; I love music a lot! I have always wanted to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen” from start to end, but it is pretty tricky. So, my go-to Karaoke song this year would be “We Pray by Coldplay” (released 3 months ago); it is a timeless masterpiece! It’s an anthem for unity, peace, and hope—a fantastic song with deep lyrics, a rhythmic groove, and a polished melody.
If you could swap places with any fictional, historical, biblical, or fairytale character for a day, who would it be and why? Just a day? Well, that is tough. I am battling between Alladin (a fairytale character) and Solomon (a bible character). Being Alladin, I would work with the genie and do life-changing magic. On the other hand, being Solomon would be exciting (not for popular reasons, most would assume 😄). Still, I would use my wisdom and wealth to make some proper life alterations—especially knowing this swap is only day-long!
What’s one item on your bucket list that you’re determined to check off soon? I have always wanted to embark on an adventure motorbike trip from Kenya to Senegal to attend the Dakar Rally. However, the hosts have since changed the venue to Saudi Arabia. I now have a new destination: the southernmost tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas, also known as the Cape of Good Hope, in South Africa. While this wild adventure would fuel my passion for motorbikes, it would also push my limits and allow me to immerse myself in diverse cultures while riding across the continent.
