Project Period

February 2013 - January 2017

The Analysis of Non-communicable Diseases Prevention Policies in Africa (ANPPA) project is a multi-country study that aims at promoting Multi-Sectoral Approach (MSA) to policy-making for NCD (Non-communicable Diseases) prevention by providing evidence on the effectiveness of these approaches in the implementation of ‘Best Buys’ in sub-Saharan Africa. The short term goal is to generate evidence on the effectiveness of multi sectorial approaches in the implementation of Best Buys from at least five countries in Africa while building capacity for research in the area of MSA.
