Taddese Alemu Zerfu is a Clinician, Public Health Specialist and Nutritionist with training in public health, reproductive health, food science and nutrition. He holds MPH in Public Health specializing in public health from Jimma University and BSC degree from Alemaya University in Ethiopia.
His PhD study in food science and nutrition at Addis Ababa University focuses on Maternal Nutrition during pregnancy with a special emphasison iron, dietary diversity, and effect on pregnancy and prenatal outcomes in rural Ethiopia.
Taddese has been a clinician at government and private health facilities, a public health consultant and lecturer at various Ethiopian Universities and health science colleges. He has been involved in a number of studies with national and international level interest. He is a member of Ethiopian public health association, Ethiopian food and nutrition society, Ethiopian public health officers association and Ethiopian Bioethics initiative.
