The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is a leading Africa-based, African-led, international research institution headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, and engaged in multidisciplinary, evidence-informed research. The APHRC seeks to recruit a Nursing Officer to support one of its projects for a period of two months.
Coordinate and conduct routine return of results to patients
Ensure timely return of results
Prepare and submit field progress and reports weekly
Lead and participate in community sensitization and dissemination
Perform other duties assigned by the project supervisor and manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Nursing degree (BSc. Nursing)
Good knowledge and management of patients with non-commnunicable diseases
Report writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a clinical setting (hospital or clinics), coordinating field work of research activities in communities especially urban settings such as the slums of Nairobi
Fluent in English and Swahili
