Maurice works in the Education Research Program and his expertise is in managing and analyzing data.
He holds a Bachelors of Science (Math and Computer Science) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya and an MSc. (Population Based Field Epidemiology) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
Maurice joined APHRC in 2004 as a field staff under the NUHDSS and later as a Research Assistant. He has special interest in understanding the linkages between education and health and is driven by the need to contribute to the development of marginalized people and also influence polices that can lead to improvement of their wellbeing.
