Alexandre Zounmenou is a PhD student in Economics in the Collaborative PhD Programme (CPP) of African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) at the University of Yaoundé II and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin).
He specializes in health economics and econometrics. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics of Human Resources from the collaborative NPTCI programme at the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in Benin. He is African Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellow (ADDRF 2015).
His PhD thesis focuses on Health insurance and utilization of health care services in Benin. He has an experience in quantitative research methods, data collection and data processing, impact evaluation studies and has worked with large data sets including data from Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS).
