8th Annual PopPov Conference on Population, Reproductive Health and Economic Development.

The conference is organized by the Population and Poverty research network (PopPov) in collaboration with APHRC. The PopPov network is a group of academic researchers and funders from around the globe who are interested in how population dynamics impact economic outcomes. The network is particularly interested in how population policies can be used for poverty reduction at the household level; and economic growth at country/state level.
The Conference brings together members of the Research Network on Population, Reproductive Health and Economic Development (PopPov). The network also includes The Hewlett Foundation, Population Reference Bureau, Center for Global Development, Institute of International Education, UK’s Economic and Social Research Council, Netherland’s Organisation for Scientific Research, Forskningsrådet / Research Council of Norway, Agence Française de Développement, Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, World Bank, and grantee academic institutions.
